Iv'e been mulling over this idea for a while now. A PDF version of the handbook (the 1 that's usually in the glove box) for the Espero. I am willing to do this & e-mail to who ever want's it free of charge (dependent on how big the PDF file is).
Also I can do one for the Matiz as well, when I can find it.

Comments & surgestions welcome.

Wouldn't there be copywrite issues?

I have looked through the manual & cannot see anywhere "Subject to copyright" or the little c in a circle symbol Copyright symbol. But you do have a valid point. But the car is no longer in production, I carn't see it being a problem. I will wait for more comment's though before proceeding.

Thanks

Jon
I don't think there would be a problem putting it into PDF format for your own use though Wink
couldnt agree more with sweetie
OK say no more. Nudge nudge wink wink.

I will leave this for a week in case anyone else wants to comment.

I would say go ahead. It's highly unlikely that copyright is an issue if you're not making money out of it. It wouldn't do any harm to acknowledge Daewoo in your copy. You can put me down for one as I've been unsuccessful in locating a copy for myself.
Just to keep you updated I have started scaning in the Handbook & will hopefully finish it off this weekend.

Also I have found the Matiz one as well, so when I get some free time I will be doing that one as well.

I have now finished scanning this Shocked 48MEG Shocked hmmmmmm
bit to large to e-mail in one go, so I will have to break it down in to smaller chunks. I will set up a hotmail account later to-day for people to e-mail & request the PDF version of the Espero Owner's Manual.

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie here. I would like to request/ask for a copy of the Espero Owner's Manual if it is available. I bought a second hand Espero 1998 last month and I think there is problem with the following:
1) The battery drains for an overnight park. (The engine won't start after over night). I think the alternator is working fine, coz the battery is just fine when the car is running. (I already modified the ground cable wires by using a bigger one connecting the following; negative to the body to the engine block.)
2) The engine keeps on running even the key is turned off or unplugged from the keyhole if the hazzard switch is on. Or the ignition switch turns on with the hazard switch even the key is not in the keyhole.
3) The panel board light doesn't light if the park light or head light is turned on.
I hope the manual can help me to figure out what the problem is.
Thanks a lot in advance.

By the way, I forgot to mention I am from Manila, Philippines and there is no such thing as Daewoo dealer or Daewoo service center here.
I've been searching all over Manila and found nothing.
Thanks a lot in advance. Smile
