Hi

We have a 54 reg tacuma 1.6 which has been fine but last week after work it started then cut out on me, so I tried it again and it did the same thing, this happened a couple of times then it it just turned over and wouldn't start then after a minute or two it started then drove home fine, my wife went to work in it okay but after work it did the same thing to her and has been doing so ever since. It will start okay and then it won't the car is now in the garage and is being hooked up to the computer but I wondered if anyone on here has had similar problems.

Thanks as I am running out of patience.
Hi i HAD the same problem with my '98 Lanos did try changing battery, rotor arm and distributor cap ht leads and then spark plugs did nothing it still did it. In the end sold it to my brother who ripped engine out and mounted SRI Astra engine in it says it is quicker and no fault
