Hi all
This has just come on next to the clock but I have no idea why. There is a wire under the passenger seat which sometimes hangs loose but never comes disconnected. Could it be something to do with that?
Cheers
Ricky
It maybe the wire has a poor connection or it could be a bad earth failing that it could be something more expensive an airbag itself could be the fault. Only real way to know is to get car plugged into a diagnostic machine.
hi there
it is more than likely there has been something under the seat that has tugged on the connection.
or either the passenger or drivers seat has been fully pushed forwards or backwards pulling on the connector.
if any of the above have happened.
LEAE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION.
and unplug and then replug the connections together.
there is a modification procedure to carry out on these connection but it is a bit long winded to explain in e-mail.
can help via pm
hope this helps
thanks nelse
Hi..The two pin connector under both passenger and driver seats suffer from resistance issues. It is quite a common problem with kalos/nissan and saabs for some reason! [they have identical connectors]. Any how, give them a clean and secure them into place with a cable tie or similar. The light will most likely have to be switched of with scan tool
