I have a Daewoo Tacuma 2001 model. Anyway, an alarm keeps going off, sometimes loudly and sometimes quietly and it is not always on constantly. No lights come up on the dash board or anything. The noise is coming from under the bonnet but it is hard to pin point exactly where. Is it something to do with the battery? I just don't know and would really appreciate any help. kind regards, Shaun

you need to start stripping and find what alarm it has got fitted. also an alarm will not fetch anything up on the dashboard as they are not wired like that. they are only linked to indicators. if it is the alram it sounds like the siren is no good as it is not constant with the decibels its kicking out.
