Hey 'woo' dudes & dudettes!
I've just bought my first second-hand woo, (espero 1800cdi, m reg), therefore i'm new to the forum, and would firstly like to offer greetings to you all. how do woo do...(sorry)
O.k. does any woo boffs know why on level ground, when the engine is cold, I can select all gears with ease,no problems.
However, when the engine warms up, or if I park it on a steepish slope, hot or cold, it is near impossible to get first or second gear. (sa wee bit embarressing too). could this be low gearbox oil?...if so, where do I top it up please.
I'm kinda hoping it's that simple, but if anyone knows better, your input will be gratefully taken on board. ta, fatty

A big Hello to ya! I would defo start by looking at Gearbox Oil Level. Unfortunatly you will need to get the car up off the ground to locate the plug on gearbox
