Hi,
i have the Nexia 1.5 mpfi P reg. For the past week or so now maybe longer, my oil warning ligt has been on. I have checked oil levels on a daily basis but there has been no drop. The car has been running a bit sluggish, running on only 3 cylinders. It runs worse in the wet weather, this has made me think that there was maybe an electrical fault as the wet weather maybe dampening something. This morning i was on my way fishing, when i got in the car i noticed that the oil warning light was no longer on, which i found a bit strange as it has been on for a while. I was on the motorway and the headlights went off and came back on again, there was a blue flash undeneath the steering wheel (the location of the fuse box). The car then lost all power. I checked out the fuse box and found that the fuse labelled,

Anti-Thief
Fuel Pump

had blown. I replaced this fuse wth a new one and turned the electrics on, the car was fine, however when i started the engine the same fuse blew.

Does anybody have any ideas what the cause of the problem could be or has anybody else experienced a similar problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi sounds like you have a bit of a job on.
Could be you have a short in the wiring or a problem with Fuel pump! I personnally wouldnt think immobiliser But am probably wrong!
I have done some work on my car and have disconnected the alternator but the problem is still happening, I also disconnected the fuel pump but the problem is still there.
Can anyone think of anything at all.
