HELLOO!
I think i may have found the problem. On further inspection, I've noticed that there is no belt on the alternator!!!!
I reckon that it snapped and fell off while i was driving. Could this stop the engine running immediately? here's hoping!

not immediatley as there would still be power in the battery, you would see the battery light on the dash tho/

Update!!!! his car is sorted! he's probably out enjoying his Woo as we speak lol
