Hi Guys! Wave

This is my Leganza!

This photo was taken in Fort William, Scotland. On the shores of wonderful Loch Linnhe in the West End Car Park.

I was on holiday with my friend and I had just arrived and taken the camera out of the boot, hence the boot being open!

More pics taken after a good clean and a wax! And when the rain finally let up, I hate global warming!

Hey guys,

As well as tinkering under the bonnet, I've been making some tweaks to the interior.

I've installed green LED's in the door handles, they make driving at night a pleasure (and it stops people scratching around trying to find the handle!).

They're spliced into the 12v feed into the power window switch, in the driver's panel, the light is spliced into the 12v feed to the other doors, so all four can be turned off with the master window lockout on the driver's panel.

Some pics below:

Some red LEDs are in place at the bottom of the door cards, spliced into the feed from the doorstep lights.

I'm dropping this into her soon:

Pioneer AVIC F900

DVD / iPod / MP3 / USB / Sat-Nav / Bluetooth Phone / Touch Screen / Double Din Heaven!

Unit is in! Will post piccies with installation guide soon!
Pioneer AVIC F900BT Installed:

Looks a million times better in real life than it does in the pics! Biggrin

The installation went relatively easily, there are a lot of cables supplied with the unit, however, I have only installed the GPS Antenna in the rear parcel shelf and the microphone for the telephone functions in the headlining above the driver's A pillar. There is a hardwired USB connection for iPods and memory sticks etc.

An ISO adapter will be required if changing from a factory fit unit.

The wires were easily tucked away for a tidy, almost professional fit.

GPS Antenna: the wire runs behind the parcel shelf, tucked between the seat sides, runs under the plastic side panelling, up behind the footwell carpet and into the centre console.

Telephone Microphone: the A pillar trim and door weather stip was removed to fit; the wire runs under the trim and stip, past the ECU, under the carpet in the footwell and up into the centre console. The installation comes with a silly (and huge) clip to go on the sun visor or something, which would look untidy. Hence....

I may fork out for a reverse camera, but it would just be a novelty!

Pioneer unit started to overheat yesterday!

Have took it out and taken it back, so it's back to the old factory Sony for now Banging

Oh well.............!
kepp this updates ..id quite like something akin to this for the old nissan bus. as the wooer has just got a new headunit ..
I'm thinking that the Parrot RK8200 would be fine in the car now,

It has Phone functions via bluetooth, able to store phonebook and bespoke iPod connection. Plus a cubby hole for iPod/Phone in the head unit!

What do you guys think to it?
Forgot to mention, the Parrot cannot play CDs, music from SD Card/USB/iPod/Aux In/Internal Memory only!
