Did my noobie come with security wheel nuts as standard? I wasn't given the tool to remove them when I was sold the car so I'm going to have to acquire one.

The Nub had locking wheel nuts if the car had ally wheels. Steelies did not have locking nuts.
If you have some on with no key you could be in for a good time NOT!

They are alloys so I'm looking forward to a loooong day. What helpful tips can people give? Brute force & ignorance can be helpful but I prefer to learn from other people's mistakes.
Three options
1, IF YOU ACCESS TO A WELDER YOU COULD CAREFULLY WELD SOME BAR WITH A 90 DEGREE BEND
2, PREFERED OPTION FOR ME. GET SOCKETS OUT OF TOOLBOX FIND ONE A TAD SMALLER AND THEN SMACK IT OVER LOCKING BOLT AND THEN GENTLY & SLOWLY REMOVE SOCKET N LOCKER
3,EXPENSIVE OPTION, GET YOURSELF TO HALFRAUDS OR SIMILAR & PURCHASE A LOCKING WHEEL NUT REMOVING TOOL & WHILE YOUR THERE GET SOMEMORE LOCKERS (YOU WONT SEE MUCH CHANGE IF ANY FROM £60.00)

I bang a 18mm socket onto them and wizz them off with a air gun.
This does usually work unless they are really really tight.

On a slightly different tack, the book says the torque for the nuts is 120N/m or 88lb/ft...how can anyone hope to shift that torque with the aid of the sad wrench supplied with the car? I was always taught that you get it as tight as you can with the tools that you've got - if you got stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat, you would have no chance! Either that, or carry a big bar everywhere.
