Nubira 2.0 CDX 1999
Hi,
The car fogs up as soon as it rains so I guess I need to change the cabin/pollen filter. Where is the filter located in the car? I can't find it in Section 7B of the manual.

Cheers,
See:
Section 7/H&V system/manual control HVAC/mtce&repair/on veh service/servicable components/Air filter/J3B17B05 onwards. As Bodie says whip out the glove box an take it from there
If memory serves me right I think you will find that it is under the bonnet on the n/s. It is behind the black oblong recirc device that has 2 vacuum pipes running thru it. It is held on the scuttle with 2 ten mm nuts

Daetech is correct, I changed mine only last week.

Cheers

For those who have never seen one of these filters, it flexes at roughly the midpoint of its length (I thought mine was damaged in transit). This is so that you can bend it over the N/S/F suspension pillar while you slide it down the grooves into the filter holder.
Is there a difference between older Nubs and the later J200 type Lacettis? My Lacetti ('05) definitely has the cabin filter inside behind the glove box as stated in the manual on hereEusa_think
Why compare a lacetti to a nubira, they are a completely different style of car. The nubira in any guise is daewoo where as the lacetti is more so gm..

Because I was told by the dealer I had my last service done at that the Lacetti is the later Nubira rebadged as Chevrolet - I know there are some differences but looking at the manual on here and comparing it to my '05 Lacetti it would appear to be the virtually the same car.
basically the question related to a j150 nubira.

first nubira j100 then come j150 pointed headlights.
then the j200 nubira which was later named a lacetti.

neil
Thanx for that Neil, it seems there are a few differences between the models - I apologise if I misunderstood any previous posts
