Hi again everyone this may help or it may not
i posted a thread asking which way around the matiz thermostat is supposed to go most owners would expect it to fit only one way! right?
wrong

I have noticed that the service manual indicates that the thermostat wax pin end should be facing out of the main housing on the engine block or facing the top hose that leads to the radiator. Ive noticed that mine is the other way around
which tells me that they can actually be put in wrong.
Maybe just maybe this may contribute to alot of threads where owners have suffered the cold/warm air coming from the heater core indicating the heater core is blocked when actually the thermostat could have been put in wrong by someone previous.
