Hello,

I hope I will get an answer this time. seems that all my questions receives no answer around here Alright

anyway friends, I want to know an old fashioned way to adjust the dizzy (the type that comes in MK I, with adjustment screws) to get the best spark timing.

anyone cares to explain?

PS. I don't have access to timing-light and such gadgets !
If I knew I would help you my friend! But I got no idea! Good luck...

dosnt your dizzy and mounting have a blob of blue paint to line them up together?

No - just plain mounting, where you have to loosen two screws holding dizzy and adjust back and forth. the car seems to accept almost all adjustment positions but for sure there is a best position.

cant just keep loosening, adjusting and going for a drive each time to find out Tearhair

any ideas?

Thanks Bodie...
