Hi,
I just aquired a Matiz from a framily member as I was desparate for a car (I'm used to bigger so it's a bit of a shock to the system really.)
In true to form fashion I have owned it 4 days before something goes wrong, - this is about normal, but ca anyone save me a lot of time by advising.

Very suddenly, I got a wet floor at the front. on looking I see there is a healthy constant drip from right underneath the blowers and, as is the way on most cars it seems a bit inaccessible!
I am losing a litre in about every couple of outings as it continues to drip furiously after running while engine is still hot and water is up there in the system.
At the moment i have the carpets peeled back and a bowl wedged underneath.
Can anybody advise on the most likely cause? and how difficult to get to the heater matrix?

Tom
diffidently heater matrix. will need to be replaced or just cut hoses connected to it and plug them with something from engine side and live without heater.

not an easy job to replace it though.

good luck and keep us updated.
