Hi there

My Tacuma sometimes jumps when you put it into drive. It is almost like it thumps into gear or jumps up a gear before you have touched the accelerator. When this happens the car is sluggish. Any ideas?

any warning lights on?

No warning lights. Sorry for the late reply

worth checking the gearbox oil level, make sure the oil cooler pipes arnt leaking at the radiator.

hi had this problem and it tuned out it was just low on auto transmission fluid,because of a leak at the rad as mentioned by someone else fixed leak topped up fluid and now runs ok.hope this helps.
